Let perseverance finish its work

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

JAMES 1:2-4

The Lord is the greatest teacher ever. He never tires, never waivers, he is always making you whole - a complete transformation of mind and heart - not from the mind any longer. To be with God is for all time. It is not a brief moment on a Sunday morning. It is ALL things - sleeping, dreaming, thinking, loving, teaching. Every aspect of life renewed in Jesus name is completely made new into the most pleasing ways to the Lord!

We are called to be a light for Jesus through his Holy Spirit. This relationship is both internal and external in expression. God will not let the character of the disciple be unfinished as it is his very purpose for you to do his will perfectly. In this - the Lord will return you to a situation over and over until his way has been realized. His very purpose is for you to be a complete and finished creation in him. Should you return to face the same obstacle repeatedly, recognize this as a moment for perseverance - seek the Lord in prayer moment by moment and allow him to show you a new way to pass through the situation.

He knew what was in each person

"Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person."

JOHN 2:24-25

Jesus Christ is your lone salvation. No job, no man, no entity besides the living God can truly help. As your mind and body are renewed in Christ Jesus you will become disillusioned from the false realities of this world and tuned in completely to the spirit forces acting through people to deliver messages.

Trust in the Lord and you shall no longer be blind or dead to the spiritual truths of life. 

Jesus did not trust any man, but he was not bitter. The confident and Holy life of Jesus was based solely on his trust in God to bring about the change in man. Trust based on the human line will always end in dissatisfaction and disaster. There is no cynical nature to Jesus because of his knowledge of man. Jesus came to set us free - to show us how to live for God - to show us how to love our neighbor.

The clouds of God

“Look, he is coming with the clouds,”

    and “every eye will see him,

even those who pierced him”;

    and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”

So shall it be! Amen.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

REVELATION 1:7-8

The clouds signify personal life struggles that represent God in the clearest form. Maturing in God and accepting scripture as the only life tool, is essential to creating a full complete dependence on the Lord. If you depend on others - Jesus is not the only way. God will save you.

He created the heavens and the earth. He loves you the most. Just depend on him. He will come. Soon.

The clouds represent that God is there - within the struggle - within the fight - within the pain - within the sadness. There is no need for God if there are no clouds. It is within the cloud of faith that you are made wise and faith is strengthened and righteousness is earned. It is within the cloud the Lord teaches you to change your old ways and begin a new way.

Jesus is a teacher and he will mold you by the measure of your obedience to him. 

Obedience to Jesus

 "Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd. After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray."

MARK 6:45-46

Obedience is the essence of the loving God in Heaven. Obedience is when you have complete dependence on the father in heaven to guide you through the second by second nature of a chaotic or nice day. It is not saying, "when I do this - do I get this?" No - in being obedient in the face turmoil the Lord brings peace and wisdom - allowing you and Jesus to deal together with the day.

The purpose of obedience is to be molded into the Lord's image. A person who does their own will above the desired will of God is of no use to God. The situation of the present moment is the task at hand for the Lord. He is a God of now. He may give a vision of a time in the future - but the vision is realized in obedience to the one who gave the vision. The process of molding occurs only in the current as that is when the fire of the Lord burns the hottest and thus you are ripe for a new way. The victory is in choosing Jesus and his way.

When Jesus began to pass his disciples in the boat while he was walking on the lake, Peter asked the Lord to call him to do the same, Jesus replied, "Come," at once Peter walked on the lake. At the moment the wind swept through, Peter became scared and began to sink. "You of little faith" replied Jesus as he grabbed Peters hand and got in the boat. It is the power of your faith in Jesus that powers The Holy Spirit in you.

My teaching...comes from the one who sent me

“My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him."

JOHN 7:16-18

The world, your friends and your family will think you have lost it. Obedience to God is first - when the word of God comes upon you - obedience is ALL you can do. Do not be guided by worldly pressures. 

The measure of success in this world has shifted from having God to having money. Do NOT fall into that trap of placing distance between you and your creator. Jesus will take care of you. Blessed are those that have not seen, but still believe.

The spiritual dialogue between you and the Lord occurs in the spirit. The Lord will ask you to do a thing for him. The choice to do the thing is obedience. Darkness in the spiritual life is found through not doing what the Lord asks. God will make you sensitive in areas that you never thought of previously. Do not shrink from the task of the Lord. Think not of how people will perceive you in obedience - but rather how you are pleasing to the most high God - to the Lord of Heavens Armies. Jesus has prepared "the way" for you to go and his way is only found through obedience to him.

Purity of Heart

“Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

MATTHEW 15:18-20

Jesus Christ is love. The father created all of us. In doing so, he gave us a heart and a brain. Jesus taught us to use our hearts - to let go of our minds and live for and with pure love. He is the only authority on the human heart. 

Give everything you have to the Lord - it is his anyway. Let go - be removed and purified as only the Lord can do for you.

Purity of the heart is the desire of the Lord. There is no purity in evil planning or any thought on the line of immorality. There is a reverence for ignorance in regard to the knowledge of Jesus on the line that he is Holy and you are not. This is a true statement  -  it is very specifically the Lords desire that you are Holy because he is Holy and he gives you this option through faith in him and his Holy Spirit.

Innocence and ignorance are not the same. Innocence falls on the line of sinning in unawareness and at once you are made aware of your sin - you seek forgiveness and do not return to the situation. Ignorance falls on the line of sinning in unawareness and at once you are made aware of your sin - you say you are just human with no conviction to alter your state of awareness.

At once the immoral feelings of humanity bubble up inside you, seek the Lord's help in renewing your heart and mind into his loving way. Be awake in Christ and dead to the false teachings of this fading world. The truth is his kingdom and it lasts from everlasting to everlasting.

Blessings of The Holy Spirit

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,

    for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

 Blessed are those who mourn,

    for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

    for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

    for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,

    for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart,

    for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

    for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

    for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

MATTHEW 5:3-10

The teachings of the bible and Jesus are often looked at like nice statements to give people hope. When you surrender all of your heart to Jesus though - he makes you new - alive in the spirit. Transformed into what the Lord has already created you to be.

Surrendering to Jesus is his que for the father to fill you with the spirit. It is through this transformation that the bible becomes life.

"The Way" in which Jesus asks for you to live is specifically counter to the way of the world. The beatitudes are promises of the blessings that you will receive from the Holy Spirit when you choose Jesus and his way by faith. Jesus does not give information that does not lead to life. He is The Life.

Every written word that Jesus spoke was for the purpose of the kingdom of heaven. He did not speak to make people feel good or tell them what they want to hear. No - he specifically spoke about what people need to do to see the kingdom of heaven. Jesus does not speak in the abstract but rather in the littoral. It is this same and singular purpose of teaching and declaring life that will become the disposition of the disciple - this is the truth of the transformation in Christ.

The disposition of The Holy Spirit

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them...For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."

MATTHEW 5:17-20

Jesus conquered the world. In giving your life up to become his disciple - all must be given from the heart - not acts of servitude or rituals. Pureness of intention from the heart is what the father sees. 

As your heart is purified from the spirit - your mind will slowly be renewed through the spirit thus opening great communication with the Lord Almighty to fulfill your kingdom duties. You are created for God - not for a 401k.

Jesus is the Son of God. He was the perfect man given the full Holy Spirit from his father in heaven. It is his perfect spirit that we have access to because of his death on the cross and rising from the tomb. He ONLY came here because God loves his creation (people). The spirit inside is the power of life - everything else is a lie of this world.

Our Father in heaven seeks for us to have the same disposition as Jesus and he gave us this opportunity through baptism of The Holy Spirit. God seeks to find you spotless in sin in the open space and in the hidden places. There is no part of the flesh that can remain unclean for him to dwell in you for he is Holy. 

Through faith and obedience - the Lord can place his very own disposition inside of any person. Very truly - you must have an open mind as though a child uncorrupted by false teaching.

God chose the weak things...to shame the strong

God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

1 CORINTHIANS 1:27-30

To read the word of God is one thing. To take that word and then digest it through living it - not simply trying to comprehend it is when the sanctification process begins. Slowly as you walk closer and closer with Jesus - the Holy Spirit will fill you more and more, with the final manifestation being Righteousness and Holiness given through the Spirit.

It is the power of God through faith in Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit that sanctifies you. As you walk with Jesus, you will not simply be imitating his words with your own. No - it is he that will live in your flesh. The Holy Spirit provides the love, patience, hope, wisdom, understanding and faith. You can do no thing to gain power or influence with the Lord except being faithful to him and speaking his word. The power is in him and him alone. 

God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things so no person can boast about the mighty work of the Lord. It is he that allows you to know him and it is he that will sanctify your faith in him. The power and hope is in the Lord - the choice of the way in which you go is yours.

Sanctification for Christ

"It is God’s will that you should be sanctified;"

1 THESSALONIANS 4:3

Losing your life means giving everything - jobs, people, money, stuff - whatever it is - it must be forsaken. The Only thing necessary to follow Jesus is Jesus. In this losing of your life - The Lord will see your faith and place his spirit strongly inside you. Thus making you one with the Lord - son of man in the spirit.

No works or words allow for a substitute - only the life action of being stripped to walk with Jesus.

To sanctify is to make Holy and set apart. This is specifically what God is asking of you to do for him. To be one with Jesus - we must also be sanctified in death of our life here on earth. The death I refer to is the choice to die to your old life and accept the new way in Christ Jesus. The process of sanctification will strip you completely in such a way that you will have nothing left except for Jesus. Jesus declares, "If any man come to me and hate not...his own life, he cannot be my disciple." This is being sanctified.

The purpose of being sanctified is so that the complete and fullness of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ will be lived in you. He is Holy - therefore you must be Holy to be his dwelling place. You are the church - God is the power in heaven - The Holy Spirit gives you direct speaking access to Christ. This is the truth of The Holy Spirit. The father is the son through the Holy Spirit. 

Blessed are the poor

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,

    for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

MATTHEW 5:3

While Jesus is the greatest teacher ever - first you must know him to understand. Jesus - was a man - he walked upon this earth - he was filled completely with the spirit of his father - our creator. He took his faith and understanding of God all the way to the cross. He knew he must die so we can live.

Jesus literally conquered the demons of the earth. Learn from him. Everything else is simply a slowly moving mirage that is fading.

Jesus must be accepted as savior of man and forgiver of sin before he is seen as a great teacher. If he is revered as a teacher and profit is that not less than the savior of mankind? You cannot come to accept the wisdom of Jesus without first recognizing him as Lord. Otherwise, his teachings will only be gained with head knowledge and personal desire and that will fade. To hear the teachings of Jesus - you must accept him as Lord and be baptized with his Holy Spirit. It is this transition through faith and obedience that brings you into communion with Jesus.

When you accept Jesus as Lord and choose to accept "The Way" Jesus chooses for you to live - the wisdom of the teachings of the Lord will rest in you. You will grow wise in the Lord and produce good fruit wherever you are sent.

"Blessed are the poor," for in weakness the Lord desires to make you strong with his very own spirit. The wealthy and the powerful rarely hear the call - for the kingdom they serve is here on earth. No - the Lord seeks the poor because they are willing to be faithful to him for the hope of a new life. The self understanding of being poor allows the mind to be open to the power of Christ - to begin new.

Put your hope in the Lord

"Even youths grow tired and weary,

    and young men stumble and fall;

 but those who hope in the Lord

    will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

    they will run and not grow weary,

    they will walk and not be faint."

ISAIAH 40:30-31

The Lord is King of all things! Jesus came, walked and conquered every bad thing people fear. He conquered the world already! Give it all - we are but dust - formed into the likeness of the father. He has your heart in his hands - guiding you - teaching - taking you every where at any moment in full love and safety.

Fear not - Jesus already gave us life! It is our obligation to God to give our lives to him. Jesus knows everything and he always wins.

There is no place that you need to go to find God. He is available exactly where you are. God is a Spirit and he covers the earth. He is not held to time or space and he has no obstacle. The problem is that people do not seek the Lord as the guide for their daily life. Therefore, when the time of trouble comes, there is no faith to rely on the power of God. Faith is not exercised in the extreme - that is desperation. Faith is exercised in the mundane and made strong for the extreme circumstances.

Let the Lord be involved in your daily common-sense choices. Speak to him and wait for him to communicate back through the spirit. Have conversation with the Spirit inside and thank the Lord always for this miracle of communion. Grow strong in Jesus and speak with him always.

No servant is greater than his master

“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them."

JOHN 13:13-17

The Spirit of the Lord Jesus is given as it is desired. God made man free - gave the Bible to live and guide - Jesus is the Way - the Truth and the Life. What you want is up to you. To achieve obedience to directly access the Lord Jesus for him to give you the Holy Spirit - you must surrender and be obedient in that day.

Ask anything you like and the Lord will grant you. Jesus is king of all. He won - He conquered for us.

Jesus is not a tyrant and he demands nothing. He says "come" and "follow me." Jesus is Lord and to have his Holy Spirit live in you is a personal choice. The Spirit will be granted in higher doses as you choose to be obedient to the Lord and choose the way he asks for you to go. When you choose the Lord's way - "The Way" he provides everything you will need for the journey of life. 

When you choose to go your own way - you are on your own making your own way. Jesus is the King of the World and he is coming soon. He is Lord of the living and giver of the Holy Spirit. Choose life in this day - the Lord is calling for you.

Why do you persecute me

He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.

“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

ACTS 9:4-6

God is the creator of heaven and the seas. He sent his son Jesus - ONLY so that man can live - Jesus was the sacrifice. The body died. The spirit lives in those that accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior - in those that say "yes" to Jesus - you say "no" to sin and obey the father. Disobedience means you have yet to accept Jesus Christ as The Way - The Truth and The Life.

The Lord is always communicating with you. It is you that must seek his voice - and when you hear his voice in your spirit - the choice is yours to do what he asks. Jesus is the cornerstone for life - so therefore you will be asked to do things to mold you into his image and into following his way. When you insist on not doing the thing in which you hear - the voice and spirit of the Lord will be dull in you. 

The soft voice of the Holy Spirit is encouraging, helpful, thoughtful, wise, loving, never hateful, never deceitful, never hurts another. The voice of the one that encourages negative thoughts and hateful action is the enemy. The voice of the one that connects to self and creates self drive - promotion - or the feeling of being a victim is your voice. Jesus asks that you ONLY listen to his voice - the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is what comes out of you that dictates the master in which you follow. 

 

Simplicity of Faith

"I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power."

1 CORINTHIANS 2:3-5

It is through my words I must speak with clarity and simplicity as to easily relay the message of the Gospel. For me to stand and be boastful while speaking or to use fancy words is not to lead. It is to show off. Through actions and words of the Holy Spirit - people will be drawn - for God is love. Teaching is love and things of love are from God. Jesus is the God of ultimate Love. I will honor his life with mine.

The personality of the teacher in Christ is not relevant for the message. It is the simplicity of the message of Jesus Christ that is the miracle and the willingness to speak as the Holy Spirit directs. An apostle has no other will in them other then will of Christ. It is God himself that does his own teaching through the Holy Spirit - he uses people (his creation) as his messengers. 

Do to others what you would have them do to you

"If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."

MATTHEW 7:11-12

As you turn and give every single shred of your heart - pray for the renewal of your mind. The Lord Jesus is already here! He will help you - it is hard - he will help you. Jesus knows all things. He conquered the enemy for all. Trust ONLY in him and he will conquer the enemy in your life too. Your life is his life - through the Holy Spirit.

The disciple will keep their heart and mind fixed on Jesus and the Holy Spirit in all things - in each moment. There will be moments of great difficulty and it will feel as you are alone - but you are not alone. You may feel that God does not hear you. God does hear you. Keep your gaze on the Lord above and each situation will be brought out as he has planned with an enriched and closer relationship with him. Jesus is alive and he is calling you. Take deep root in the Lord and let no thing get between you. It is this personal relationship with him that allows you to know his truth.

Jesus walked around and told people how to live but they did not understand. He taught everything in parables because the hearts of the people were hard and would not hear what he was saying. He is speaking to you directly now and he loves you- he desires your heart and mind to focus on his love and supernatural way.

The power of God brings salvation

I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

ROMANS 1:14-17

I have given all my life, body, mind, spirit and soul to my Lord Jesus Christ to be his and all the disciples redeemer. For me to forsake all of life for my Lord Jesus - he gives me his life through the spirit. The Father IS the Son through The Holy Spirit. All must be given.

After the revelation of Jesus Christ, there is no greater cause to take up. Is there some greater duty than to teach non-believers about the eternal life in King Jesus? The very basis of life and decision is on the line of what leads to life and what leads to death. Jesus is the cornerstone you see. There is no greater message that can be taught - there is no greater victory than to overcome death.

There is no feeling of superiority in Christ - but rather humbleness, kindness and love. The debt is owed to Christ. It is to him I owe my allegiance and it is his perfect noble cause that is the pursuit. It is the Holy Spirit of Christ that allows such communion with the Most High. Jesus reserved no piece of himself - he gave everything. 

Do not resist an evil person

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you."

MATTHEW 5:38-42

I live only to prove that my Lord Jesus and his disciples lived before I. For me to live in the body of Christ is to walk with the Lord. It justifies there works - their lives - it proves the Bible is truth and shows the world that Christ lives.

The way the Lord asks us to be for him is counter to the understanding of this world. Jesus says if someone is to hit you you should not hit back but rather turn the other cheek. This concept is hard for the world to comprehend as it sounds cowardly. The truth is that it is the disposition of the Lord to not strike back - and it is his disposition that is necessary in you for his work to be done. 

The Lord can do no great thing in you if you are continually taking the charge upon yourself. It is his will - his honor - his life that must be lived in you in for you to live in "The Way." No longer insist upon your own individuality - this is a hindrance to God. But rather seek the Lord's justice to be done and never cease in pursuit of the truth of the resurrected Lord and his Holy Spirit in you.

Pursuit of the Vision

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple."

ISAIAH 6:1

The Lord shows you what you allow. Peel back the curtain further by honoring your Lord Jesus. Find him in all things - he is there. The Spirit transforms all of you as desired. You must seek God and forsake your life. He is there. Most assuredly so - as I am able to breathe air, I know my Lord and Savior lives.

The Lord Jesus laid down his life voluntarily such that he would break the grip of sin on the world and the people born into it. Jesus gives you the choice to no longer sin. You can only do this through accepting Jesus as Lord, being baptized in his name with water and choosing his way for your new life to be lived. 

It is the power and strength provided by the Holy Spirit that allows you to live a Holy life with Jesus. When you choose Jesus in all things - people will begin to fall away from your life. Do not cling to the old - but be diligent in pursuing only the new life in Christ. Be willing to lose all of yourself for the sake of the Kingdom. When you lose all of yourself for Jesus - your new life will be completely different than your old.

Christ himself gave...so the body of Christ may be built up

"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

Ephesians 4:11-13

To serve is to give - all of it. Jesus expects all your life to be given to take up the Lords cross. Not part way. The spirit of the Lord is in all things - this life is spiritual - occurring not in the flesh - but of the renewing of the spirit. Through this renewal - life is found. Jesus is found. 

Christ did not die for part of my time - he died so that I may let others live.

The workers in Christ are to be diligent in sowing the seeds of life. What will come of the one that has the knowledge to teach life but chooses to do nothing to spread the seed? We are here to spread the word of Jesus - the risen Lord. He gives life to those that seek him - to those that call his name and ask him for forgiveness of your sins and then turn from your ways to follow him. It is he and his name alone that is the giver of life. 

Jesus is not meant to be discussed one day a week  - but in everything for each purpose. Jesus is not meant to be quoted simply like a proverb - but his life is meant to be lived in you.

I want to know Christ

"I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead."

Philippians 3:10

Understand your walk with Christ is spiritual. Two plains exist in all things - the regular world and the spiritual. In all things seek Jesus - for he knows anyway. Be present in knowing your Lord is there for all things. You are not alone.

In hard times trust Jesus. In mundane times understand the Lord is still with you. We are simply a creation - formed for one purpose - to find Christ - not to be "busy" doing stuff.

The goal for the disciple is not the experience of the magnification of themselves - but for the magnification of Jesus Christ through The Holy Spirit. The one who gives everything over to the spirit is one with the Lord Jesus Christ - as he was with the father. 

Do not give up meeting together

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

HEBREWS 10:24-25

To be busy with all things except the enlightenment of the spirit is not right. To be diligent in knowing Christ and creating activity centered  around that is the proper way. Let not a busy day keep your heart from knowing your Lord. Often people want to enjoy the fruit of the scriptures without having to honor the Lords commands.

It is common for people to find Jesus and then retire from spiritual growth with the head knowledge of Christ and go about daily life. There are no spiritual gifts provided to the sluggish. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are provided to the workers for Jesus - for the purpose of spreading the good news of the risen Lord such that non-believers may see a believer of Christ - see the spiritual life of Christ in them  - and also be saved. This is how the kingdom of God is built up.

Those who choose to be true disciples understand they are given life only for the purpose of God's Heavenly Kingdom - to spread his message - the truth of Christ Jesus - the Risen Lord. Such that we are literally the hands and feet of Christ used for the purpose of gathering the Lord's Children - the scattered remnant of the tribes of Israel.

As followers of The Way, we are not timid, we are not quiet. We speak truth and we speak life for it is life in us in The Way. We do not fear for the Lord guides our path and goes ahead of us to clear the way. Be diligent in encouragement and build each other up for in Christ we are one body that will function perfectly with Christ Jesus as our head.

He is a Holy God...He is a jealous God

Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve the Lord. He is a holy God; he is a jealous God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins. If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods, he will turn and bring disaster on you and make an end of you, after he has been good to you.”

JOSHUA 24:19-20

Lord Jesus - hear my prayer. I love you with all that I am. I am created to serve only you. Nothing else. In this place my Lord I am a foreigner. I am lost in the present world. I trust only in your word Lord. I pray for deliverance. Absolve me my Lord of my sins and disobedience such that my prayer may be heard by you - most high. I seek nothing but your love, light and guidance. Please Lord - let us not succumb to the depths of this world - save my family oh Lord.

We must be Holy, because he is Holy. For the Holy Spirit to live inside you - you must be sinless and obedient to the Lord. We are the temple of God. He created us to be his temple - not a building. The creator of the heavens, moon and stars does not need human assistance for a dwelling place. He created us for this purpose. For the will of God to be done in you - you must seek Jesus - ask him for forgiveness of your sins and be baptized in his name. God IS a Spirit of Love and IS a consuming Fire.

The Holy life cannot be lived without Jesus. It is him in you that bonds you to the Father in Heaven. You can do nothing that gives life without Jesus.  Open your mind to the Truth of Life and seek Jesus with reckless abandon. The false teachings of the world will fade but the word of God will last forever.

Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve

“Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

JOSHUA 24:14-15

The Lord is my God - my life, my love, my hope, my desire. I have forsaken everything this world holds to take up my cross for you Jesus. You are my king - my only. I wish for nothing except you - your love - guidance and light are my compass. 

Lord I hold fast to you now, for the flesh has become weak. I need your embrace - direction and help. Nothing of this world can help guide me oh Lord for I am lost in this place. I need you.

The choice of what master you choose to serve is the first step of obedience or disobedience. The choice for God is on purpose for purpose. There is not an accidental allegiance to God only a deliberate choice. The more the Lord asks of you, the more you will be caused to choose him instead of something else. The truth of the heart of the worker for the purpose of Christ is complete abandonment to the will of The Holy Spirit.

The choice for whom you will serve is personal. There is no group think and you cannot rely on anyone's faith. The Lord is calling you specifically to be his special possession. He will love you, teach and guide you in his way for the purpose of his Kingdom. You see, the Lord is coming and his Kingdom will last forever.

Small is the gate...that leads to life

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

MATTHEW 7:13-14

Truth is nobility. Truth is always acting in accordance - regardless of how difficult the situation may feel. Truth is Jesus Christ. To understand the faith walk of Christ - is to be tested with great difficulty by the enemy - but never wavering in your resolve to always stand fast and trust your Lord Jesus Christ. He will carry you through - He will.

To carry the cross of Jesus is difficult in this world. It is hard for you because it was hard for him. The world did not recognize the Lord Jesus and therefore does not recognize him in you either. The difficulty is not in the act of not sinning with the Lord - For choosing Jesus frees you from sin. The difficulty is that you are a faithful foreigner in a sinful world and to do the Lord's will - you must remain clean in the face of temptation and the evil one is always lurking.

Nobility is always difficult and truth is always worth fighting for. The Holy Spirit is the power within that always gives you what is needed for the situation at hand. The Holy Spirit comes only through Jesus - seek him and his love in you and the narrow road will become easy to walk and the small gate will be open.

The burning sand will become a pool

"The burning sand will become a pool,

    the thirsty ground bubbling springs.

In the haunts where jackals once lay,

    grass and reeds and papyrus will grow."

ISAIAH 35:7

The Lord places in you a dream - a big dream. It is yours to be had. Jesus spent 40 days in the desert as shall all of God's children. Only we are not in a desert but we exist in this world of daily sin. Do not be tempted - the Lord will hold fast to you. Do not quit - it will be unbearable. The walls will shake and the ground will move but the Lord Jesus holds fast to me. I shall not fail - my Lord will not allow it.

At once the vision is received - the valley of dispair awaits. It is in the valley that the Lord must mold you into his such that his vision can be realized in you. The vision is not for you in your present state but in the state of perfection in the eyes of God through the fire of the Holy Spirit. It is he who decides when you are ready for the task he has planned. This is the valley where patience is pressed in and frustration is worked out. It is in the valley in complete weakness of your mind and body where the Spirit will build you strong. You cannot be molded in a state of resisitance or individual thought. You can only be molded by concentrating on the Lord and his will for you. Choose today for whom you will serve.

He will make your righteous reward shine

"Commit your way to the Lord;

    trust in him and he will do this:

He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,

    your vindication like the noonday sun."

PSALM 37:5-6

God is good. Know this first. When you are bleak, weak, tired and hungry - thank your Lord. He is there. While it is easy to rejoice in times of joy, so it should be easy to find the Lord when things are not so good. Trust in the Lord for he died to allow you to live. So Live. Not for you but for Jesus.

In good or bad situations of this world, the Lord sees his children. You will not be forsaken. Stand fast and wait with an open heart for the Lords most perfect plan awaits for those who do.

It is the Lord in you that is life through the Holy Spirit. For this life to be realized it is he that you must seek. It is he that will hold you by the hand and take you where you are supposed to be. It is he that will give you rest when you are tired and he that will provide a rich reward - at the time that he has already chosen. It is you that must seek him - in all things - in all situations.

Refrain from anger and give up your rage

"Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him;

do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,

by the man who carries out evil plans.

Refrain from anger and give up your rage;

do not be agitated—it can only bring harm."

PSALM 37:7-8

Fretting, fussing and worrying are the works of the enemy. God can and will do all things for those that uphold his commands - those chosen to be made whole in Jesus. Baptized new. In this "new," we must give it all to God. No matter how tough, no matter the situation. God knows - Jesus is your redeemer - give in to his will in all things.

To not fret in any situation is to know that God is in you completely. It is not human nature to easily let go of agitation. This is why he calls you to him - to focus your unsettled mind on the one that will calm you. He is the one that brings peace. It is a faithful act to not fret in the Lord - in this faith, be patiently persistent in prayer and meditation of the Lord. The Holy Spirit provides the ability to release the agitation in communion with the Lord. Focus on him - not the agitation and the Spirit will work in you to release and change your disposition. This change from on high will be a permanent mold as you faithfully walk with Jesus.

I am a man of unclean lips

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Isaiah 6:5-8

Sin is not acceptable to the Lord. The acceptance of Jesus Christ is the admission of your wrong ways of life and your acceptance of a new life given by the spirit through the acceptance of Christ. To be baptized in Christ and call yourself a sinner is disobedient.

The Lord demands your efforts to be focused on his will - not your past sinning ways.

The human mind becomes astutely aware of a particular area of sin when you bring your thoughts up to the Lord of Heaven. It is in this personal awareness of sin in a specific area that often prevents a person from speaking to God within the Spirit and improperly focus on the sinful life as a statement of fact. The sinful life is NOT a fact. This is false teaching. 

With Jesus - you are specifically able and expected to not sin. It is the power of Jesus that sets you free from sin - not a mental decision based on a set of human principals. It is the Holy Spirit that is born in you during baptism and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord that provides this power. The choice to be obediently faithful to Jesus and access this power is yours. Be certain to know that this is a decision for your eternal resting place. For I assure you, the flesh will pass away but the spirit inside of you will live forever and there is but one way to the kingdom of heaven and that is through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord.

At once the Lord makes you aware of a particular area of sin, seek the Lord's grace and remove the thing that is being brought to your mind that causes a hindrance in your spirit. This act of faith from you to the Lord will be rewarded and you will be made clean before the Lord.

Whoever does not carry their cross...cannot be my disciple

"Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple."

LUKE 14:25-27

To be with Christ in pure love and devotion is divine. All things must be given to the Lord for complete discipleship. My Lord has stripped me of all worldly items and desires. I am a bond servant to Christ. Your spirit my Lord holds me fast to your love. For you are in me.

Any personal relationship that is in conflict with the way of Christ, Jesus calls you to be immediately obedient to him. He is the way. People of human inclination devote themselves to all kinds of busy activities and they give themselves moral codes to live by. The calling for all those that say Jesus is Lord is to seek him always and to love your neighbor. The Lord Jesus calls you to his way. His way is to reconcile your life in all ways to him such that you too will be a river of living water such that he will be seen in you. This is the truth of the Holy Spirit.  

The cost of eternity

 "Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny."

MATTHEW 5:26

The Lord will make you realize your calling through the Holy Spirit. The Lord is first. All things are his - your time, money, heart and soul. Be not careless to think you have achieved a great height for without God you will not succeed. The Lord will have what is his through love. All will see the Lord's grace.

God desires all of your being and requires all of your faith and obedience. He does not want part of you - but rather must make you Holy because he is Holy. For you to be a dwelling place for the spirit of the most high, he must make you as pure as he is.  The messages of Jesus are meant for the conscious such that you will accept him as Lord and then believe what he says to do for eternal life. His messages are not meant for the human mind to try and understand. You will never come to the Lord Jesus by human understanding or effort. You can only receive the Lord through acceptance and faith.

It is the very nature of God to make you perfect through his Holy Spirit. At the moment you decide to allow God to alter your disposition by choosing him by faith - he will work all of his power in making you perfectly whole in the name of King Jesus. The only thing you must do is choose Jesus and be willing to be made new from the inside out - to be a light - a beacon of hope - to love your neighbor.
