He committed no sin

 “He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”

"When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."
1 Peter 2:22-25

The cross is the utmost triumph by God. It is the moment of perfection realized in Jesus Christ. His perfect life allowed him to be our sacrifice-such that All man's sins could be washed away-and the way to the father directly opened.

Jesus Christ lived to perfection such that the cross would be his ultimate victory. It is where all sin died, all evil was defeated and the enemy became a footstool. The truth is in the life and spirit of Christ Jesus. There is one living God who came to earth to save us all. His name is Jesus Christ and all knees will bow.

The purpose of Jesus on the cross was the culmination of the perfect plan by God. Let this event not be thought of as accidental or with sadness or misguided understanding. The purpose of the life of Jesus was to open all people to a personal relationship with God. The sinless perfect life of Jesus was the sacrifice needed by God to allow the forgiveness of sin and the healing of all infirmities in mankind.
