" Then the Lord replied:
“Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come
and will not delay."
HABAKKUK 2:2-3
If you are living life in personal satisfaction you can be assured that you have given in to the world. The vision and purpose of God is eternal. It is not a once and done. The spirit is all the time. Jesus did not heal on appointment, he healed because it was the will of his father.
Likewise with us, we are not but perfect vessels in Jesus Christ. The spirit within - from above - the spirit that binds us into eternity is constant - all consuming. Rest not in personal satisfaction, but strive to be free in the spirit to always be doing the Lord's will.
Patience is not laziness or uncaring, but rather a strength that can withstand all obstacles in the interim of the vision. For once you have had the vision of God, the spirit will stir the drive to be patient in knowing that the vision is of God. Moses did not complain about walking in the wilderness for 40 years because his sight was on God. He was patient in the present of daily life because he was devoted to God, not time or personal pursuits.
