Come....Follow Me

"Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?”
They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?”
“Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”
So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.... The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus....
The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.”
JOHN 1:38-43

Living a blameless, righteous and Holy life is important for the directional flow and love of Christ to be understood. After all has been given to Jesus, live a sin free lifestyle through the power of the Holy Spirit - not you. You can say no to sin and yes to Holiness - Yes to blamelessness and Yes to a complete life with your Lord and Savior.

The interest of self must be completely broken and set aside for you to come to Jesus with completeness. The disciple of Christ is not armed with pride, ego or self reliance, but rather cloaked in love and truth through faith and obedience to do exactly what the Lord asks. "Follow Me, "Come" - these are the words of Christ Jesus in choosing his disciples. The chosen say, "I am here" and walk with the Lord.

The stubborn flesh will proclaim, "I am not a saint." The life of a follower of Christ Jesus is absolutely called to be a saint. Is it too great of a task for the sovereign Lord? Those who say, they are not a saint and continue in sin, proclaim to God that he is not powerful enough to fulfill his word in them. This is blasphemy. Those who say they are too weak to follow God insult their creator. Come unto him and make no thing hidden. The Lord Jesus is Love and loves you. He is calling you into his comforting embrace.
