Do You Listen to God?

When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”

EXODUS 20:18-19

To be an obedient and faithful child of God - you must listen. The Lord created us to be his dwelling place - He is a Spirit - He lives in us - Those who choose Jesus as King and Lord of their life are given the spirit of truth and grace.

In this - the voice of God will be undeniable for all good things are from God. Relegate yourself to the Lord. Call on him for forgiveness - Call to Jesus and ask for grace - love and truth. Give your heart and mind to God - completely - be renewed in truth and love in the new wine of Christ Jesus.

From the days of old - people have chosen to not hear God. Rather - people prefer an intermediary - a pastor - a servant of Christ - an intercessor that will allow you to not comply with the message. Jesus says, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." It is a lack of love for Jesus that keeps people from doing what he asks.

If you love Jesus - You will Honor God. If you love Jesus - You will love your neighbor. If you love Jesus - you will keep his commandments.

Jesus declares, "Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.” - John14:21

When the God of all life and creation speaks to you - do you listen? Or do you believe that all thoughts that pass through you are from you? If you believe that you are not created as a spiritual vessel of transport for God than understand the truth today. You did not create yourself - God in heaven gave you life and he desires to guide your life in each moment in each day with you - by speaking to you.

Open your mind to the vastness and fullness of God. Hear the words of King Jesus and accept them as truth. To love your neighbor is to love Christ. To allow God's love to be seen in you  - being transferred to another person - is Christ in action. Let us be the unified arms and legs of Christ for we are the body of the most high and King Jesus is our head. When the body of Christ is brought into fullness - very truly - King Jesus will descend from the heavens and take his rightful seat as King of the world.
