Do You Love Jesus?

Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?

JOHN 21:17

The point of the internal hurt felt with the revelation of the Lord is to rightly be molded and broken into his vision. It is through revelation - the Lords will is revealed to you. In this - a moment of pain or sadness to your old self is manifested at how you have always thought of yourself - without first thinking of Christ in you.

There is no true love except that which is given by and for Jesus Christ - everything else is self-serving or self-boasting. To love for the Lord is too be unabashed - unrelenting - and rightly related to the Spirit of the most high God in the name of Jesus Christ.

Sin blunts pain as you distance yourself from the Lord. Pain comes along the line of conviction and awareness to sin. The more a person sins - the less they care because they become numb to the truth which brings forth the pain of what you have done. The Lord ask that you sin no more and come unto him as he is the answer to sin.

If you love Jesus - you will sin no more. If you love Jesus - you will endure personal pain to be molded by him. If you love Jesus - you will love your neighbor. If you love Jesus - you will become broken bread and poured out wine for those in which the Lord leads to you. If you love Jesus - you will do what he asks of you.

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34

"‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’" Matthew 22:37-39

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9

"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it." Matthew 8:35

“Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." John 3:3
