"So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:9
We labor not in vain but to be relevant to our Lord - To be of use. I must be in complete harmony with my master. Step for step - thought for thought - He is God - My creator. There is no use trying to force a will that is not harmonious with that of Jesus.
To be abandoned to Christ in all moments is a truth that can only be manifested in seeking the Lord. There is no labor in Christ - but for Christ - the labor is in overcoming the lie of the world and having faith in the truth of freedom in Jesus Christ. He is hope - I wait in preparation for my Lord each day - and with each day I know the truth of the most high is imminent.
Be diligent in allowing your mind to be renewed in the truth of Jesus. He is the risen Lord - not simply a man that came and did amazing things. Though he did show many miraculous signs and healed all that had faith enough to be healed - he is more. To rise from the dead and be the first of many is what makes him Lord. Death did not keep him - nor shall it take any who belong to him.
Though all the scriptures point to Jesus being the Christ in exactly the manner in which he was born and lived - his continual life given from his rising and allowing us access to himself through his Holy Spirit can never be denied - for God is a spirit - and he is life.
"And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life." John 5:37-40
