Why did you doubt?

“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
MATTHEW 14:29-31

Be not afraid of what comes next, for with your Lord Jesus Christ, it will be exactly what your Lord desires. All good things come from Jesus - thoughts, love, kindness. Do not ignore your Lords desires of love and happiness.

To be reckless is to give all things to God. All fears - all moments - all agendas - all of your life - for it is the Lords. At once you hear the call of the Lord to you, abandon all previous understanding. For if the Lord of Heaven and all creation speaks to you what can he not do for you? With reckless abandon there is little time for thought or understanding just the willingness to do a thing.

Upon first hearing the call of the Lord, Peter immediately stepped out on the water in faith and walked. It was not until he noticed his surroundings that his understood belief of possibility shrank once more. Focus not on the outside obstacles of life, but on the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. He came to set you free. Accept his free gift of salvation, love and hope and trust in him for he is the one that loves and is love.
