"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
JOHN 3:16-17
Abandonment to God allows God to reveal himself in you - to you - only in abandonment shall you find the truth. For in giving your life to Jesus - he lives and walks for you - in you. Jesus Christ and his life are truth.
God loves us so much - he allowed us salvation, intercession and eternity. He gave us his son - such that we too may believe and have eternal life. The spirit of God and the Way of Jesus are perfection - they intersect in perfect union - this perfection is available in you - for you - in the truth of abandonment to Jesus Christ. Be deceived no more.
We are born of this earth as sinners. In Christ we are called to sin no more. You are not born to sin - but born to seek God. God gave us Jesus so that we would be set free of sin - and he did this for us on the cross of victory. The Holy Spirit of Jesus is our advocate and mighty counselor because it opens up the power of Christ in you by faith and obedience. He is the power - we are called to have faith in him that he can and will do what he says he will. In this understanding - through the Holy Spirit - you have the ability to say no to sin and yes to Jesus.
To remain in sin - to remain out of control - to remain worldly is not to have the Holy Spirit by personal choice. God is supernatural - you are not. You must give the effort of faith and obedience and he will fill you with his Spirit of peace - truth - patience - love - wisdom - hope - and grace. He will set you free from the prison of your mind and he will speak to you through the Holy Spirit that dwells in you. You must come unto him because he is there waiting to guide you and walk with you - he will never forsake you and he will always love you.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
"Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him." 1 John 3:4-6
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
